Reginald Ross Scholarship
The Reginald Ross Scholarship Award was established to honor the outstanding service of Reggie Ross as the President of the School Nutrition Association for the 2020-2021 year. In his honor, our Association will provide an Annual National Conference (ANC) scholarship to one of our members who has never attended ANC. The scholarship will provide $1500 to help with registration, hotel, and travel costs. Reggie is an Operations and Management Consultant for the NC Department of Public Instruction. He is known for always leading with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. This positivity has definitely shown throughout his SNA Presidency while leading us all into the new virtual world. We are proud of his efforts and for making NC shine nationwide!

QUALIFICATIONS:
The School Nutrition Association of North Carolina will award one $1500 scholarship in honor of Reginald Ross to attend the SNA Annual National Conference (ANC). The scholarship guidelines are shown below.
Applicant must:

Be an SNA-NC member for one year.

Be certified or credentialed.

Have never attended ANC.

Be able to pay all costs prior to ANC, as well as any additional costs that the $1500 does not cover. Chapter or school district should be able to pay all costs prior to the conference because of the professional development applicant will gain at ANC. After ANC, the $1500 could be reimbursed to the chapter or school district.

Have the school nutrition director’s approval.
